The 12th annual City of Okmulgee Fireworks Extravaganza returns next Monday, with an afternoon of fun at the Municipal Park, located next to the YMCA, as they celebrate America’s birthday. For the last two years, the event has been less ‘extravagant,’ due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and last year, heavy rains flooded the area, delaying the event.
