After months of planning, the 2022 Pecan Festival Committee met for the final time Wednesday. Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Kay Rabbitt-Brower says this year’s festival is going to be a fun event and it is because of the hard work of the committee. “I ask a lot of these people, and they have selflessly given of their time, talents, and creativity. I also want to thank their employers for allowing them to be so generous with their time.” Serving on the committee are (back row from left) Rusty Milroy, Mabrey Bank; Heather Kimbley and John Neal, Neal’s Homestore; Ken Anderson, City of Okmulgee; Bob Seebeck, retired; Crystal Bowles Palacioz, OSUIT; and Mike Taylor, retired. Front row, left to right, Malorie Brasier and Kay Rabbitt-Brower, Okmulgee Chamber of Commerce, and Patricia Kilian, Muscogee Nation. The Pecan Festival is Thursday, June 16 through Saturday, June 18.
