Tuesday’s Okmulgee Lions Club meeting was one of those annual programs, installation of officers, representing the “changing of the guard.” We were pleased and honored to have these duties performed by Past District Governor Sue Thompson (formerly of Altus, as Governor but now from Oklahoma City as Administrative Assistant to Lions of Oklahoma State Secretary Marie Burns), and assisted by Marie Burns. Her theme was “colors of the rainbow” - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet - with scarves of the appropriate color given to various board positions.
