On Monday afternoon, the members of the Okmulgee County Oklahoma Home and Community Education groups held a special event called Cookies and Crafts, at the Okmulgee County Fairgrounds. There were displays from each of the groups showcasing their projects. Attendees learned about card making, quilting and sewing, cooking to gardening, table setting, a sampling of Native food, demonstrations of air fryer cooking, and cultural enrichment. May 1-7 was proclaimed as OHCE Week. PATRICK FORD
