Okmulgee FFA Visits State Capitol, Greenwood Museum
Okmulgee FFA officers visited the Oklahoma Capitol Tuesday morning to participate in FFA Day at the Capitol. The students had the opportunity to visit with Senator Roger Thompson about state budget issues, had a tour of the House Chamber with Representative Scott Fetgatter and met with the Speaker of the House for a discussion about the importance of agricultural education. On Wednesday, the FFA students traveled to Tulsa to visit the Greenwood Rising Museum and History Center. Officers attending were Breanna Bevenue, Heavenly Tucker, Kali Perez, Parker Larabee, Angel Edwards and Gabby Miller. FFA Advisors are Tim Taylor and Angela Johnson.
