I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas weekend! You know what that means though. A new year is upon us! It’s hard to believe it’s that time again already. I ran this intro to my column last year, but we have had a rough year in the Okmulgee Times office this year so I figured it was warranted to go ahead and run it again. Most of us see New Year as a clean slate, a way to start over and claim the new year will be better than the last. I am going to explore some popular superstitions you can pick through to start your year off right-if you believe in that sort of thing. I figure it really can’t hurt to try to give yourself better luck, right?!
