Final Bean Dinner Fundraiser Is Tuesday
By News Staff

The Methodist Men of Okmulgee First United Methodist Church have held bean dinners each Tuesday throughout the month of October in the Rowe Family Life Center at 8th & Okmulgee. There is one more opportunity to help with this fundraiser next Tuesday, Oct. 26. The menu features all-you-can-eat white and brown beans, cornbread, coleslaw, desserts, drinks and sides. The bean dinners serve as a yearly fundraiser for the Methodist Men to provide much needed meals and services to the community. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and dinner will be served from 5 to 7 p.m. The price is $7 for adults.
